Aishwarya Rai
Donning a traditional yellow & golden Kanjeevaram saree, the former miss world got married to Abhishek Bachchan. Designed by the famous Neeta Lulla this dazzling attire made our Bollywood diva look flawless for her special day. Aishwarya Rai wedding saree was finished with Swarovski crystals and gold threadwork. Aishwarya’s hair was braided and veiled with flowers. She wore 22 karat gold jewelry, including an emerald and gold armband. Further, she was gifted 15 kilos of gold and diamonds; which she wore to various ceremonies.
Kareena Kapoor
It’s been 3 years since their marriage and yet Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s wedding ceremonies are still the talk of Bollywood. Kareena managed to swap her dress on her wedding day several times. The morning began with Kareena wearing a green churidaar kurta and a red dupatta. The evening was followed by her enrobing her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s wedding gharara. Ritu Kumar renewed this beforehand. In the reception she opted for a burgundy lehenga with a maroon dupatta created by Manish Malhotra. Tonnes of gold and kundan jewelry worn by Kareena for both occasions.
Shilpa Shetty
This diva wore a red colour saree, designed sophisticatedly with 8000 Swarovski crystals on it and this was valued at a whopping Rs. 50 lakh! This breathtaking wedding attire was created by one of the top-notch designers; Tarun Tahiliani. Shilpa Shetty wedding dress was so brilliant that Tarun borrowed it afterwards to showcase! Shilpa looked like utmost nobility as she wore grand kundan jewelry, uncut diamonds and emeralds. No wonder everyone can still remember this Bollywood beauty’s ceremonious wedding, with hubby Raj Kundra; though it has been nearly 7 years!
Genelia D’Souza
Genelia tied the knot with actor Riteish Deshmukh in the year 2012; wearing a gorgeous red and gold bridal saree constructed and designed by Neeta Lulla. Furthermore, this saree was a well embroidered with a magnificent arrangement of gold kundan on its’ border. The saree had been reported to be priced at up to approximately Rs. 17 lakhs. Along with this the phenomenal bride, Genelia, had been adorned in traditional Maharashtrian jewelry, which included her wearing a pearl chain on her forehead.
Dia Mirza
Dia Mirza got married with Sahil Sangha, a film maker, in the year 2014. The former Miss Asia Pacific, looked absolutely marvelous on her wedding day exhibiting her beautiful self by putting on a tender green and beige coloured saree. This caught the eyes of many, since it was different from the traditional red colour. The sharara devised by Ritu Kumar, looked rather graceful once matched with a long golden jacket. Her bridal look was made complete when she wore a jewelry set with diamond and emerald.
