The US has reportedly announced a new H-1B policy on Friday making the procedure of issuing H-1B visas tougher to those to be employed at one or more third-party worksite. Under the new policy, a company would have to prove that its H-1B employee at a third-party worksite has specific and non-qualifying speculative assignments in speciality occupation. The move is said to have a huge impact among Indian IT companies as they are among the major beneficiaries of H-1B visas.
